Andrés Rojo Maurer is an industrial engineer who holds an MSc in Integrated Water Resources Management. Since 2014, he has been active in international cooperation projects focused on implementing local scale climate action measures—to reduce carbon footprints (through mitigation) and also enhance urban resilience (through adaptation)—around issues such as sustainable mobility, the circular economy, urban planning, utilization of ecosystem services and urban water-cycle stewardship. Currently, he is a consultant on mobility and public transportation with two German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) projects in Mexico: Promoting efficient and intelligent public transport in Mexico (TranSIT) and Urban infrastructure for climate-friendly and safe mobility (Moverse).
