
Alejandro Sosa
Alejandro Sosa is a chemical engineer and currently the director of the Alianza Automotriz para la Sustentabilidad Ambiental. He has worked with large companies for 42 years, 35 of which have focused on the areas of sustainability, social responsibility, circular economy, government relations and production facilities. He has been technical director of the La Corona soap plant and executive director of the GEMI Initiative, among other positions. He has had the honor of chairing the National Ecology Commission of COPARMEX, the National Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce, the Sustainable Development Commission of CANAJAD, and the Environment Commission of UNIDEM. He has been a national member of the Advisory Council for Sustainable Development (UN); the Advisory Council for Climate Change (UN); the Advisory Council on Chemical Substances (UN); the Roundtable on Sustainable Production and Consumption; and the Advisory Councils of CONIECO and CESPEDES, among others. He has been an authorized lobbyist for the Senate and House of Representatives and was vice president of the Commission on Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change at CONCAMIN. For more than 30 years, he has collaborated with the Sustainability Commissions of the most important business organizations in Mexico.
