Lors de l’Atelier nord-américain sur la réduction et la récupération des déchets alimentaires, qui a eu lieu du 28 février au 2 mars 2017, des spécialistes des gouvernements, de l’industrie, du secteur commercial et d’autres secteurs du Canada, du Mexique et des États-Unis ont discuté de façons de réduire la perte et le gaspillage d’aliments dans l’ensemble de la chaîne d’approvisionnement alimentaire, plus spécifiquement aux étapes de la production post-récolte, de la transformation, de la fabrication, de la distribution, de la vente au détail et du service alimentaire.
