First Food Loss and Waste Measurement Experts Group Meeting

As part of the CEC’s project Measuring and Mitigating Food Loss and Waste (FLW), this meeting will bring together subject-matter experts and practitioners from across the food supply chain, as well as federal government experts, to share and discuss methodologies and best practices to measure FLW effectively in the North American food chain and calculate its environmental and socio-economic impacts. Input from the meeting participants will contribute to the development of a technical report and a practical guide for release to key stakeholders, including governments, across North America.
